Today’s gonna be a hot one. The mercury is climbing into the 90s for the first time this year. Swimming pools and ice cream shops are bound to get a workout today. I’m sure hubby will have the air conditioner cranking out the frigid air for the better part of the day. Welcome to summer!
Now I’m a big fan of ice cream year round, but there’s something so refreshing about grabbing a cone on a hot summer day. Hard ice cream or soft serve, cake or sugar cone, it really doesn’t matter to me as long as the ice cream is chocolate! Please, please don’t offer me vanilla. In my opinion, that’s not even a flavor.
Vanilla is plain. It’s boring. No one has ever described anything dull or unexciting as chocolate. No sir! If something is ordinary, it’s referred to as vanilla. Who wants to live a vanilla life? No thank you, make mine chocolate.
